I've Got It
Hey guys so this was something I was thinking about this morning and then @BitsOfBen commented this in the thread about 'Is the first 24 hours the most important'.
This was his post.
"I always get the best response in the first day but I still get plenty of likes and comments the days after. Some might disagree with me when I say this but I believe a videos performance can also depend on how frequent you upload videos. I mainly upload once a week and because of the kind of videos I do I really can't be more frequent than that. When I upload my latest video, I like the space between the uploads so the new video has time for response and to get as many interactions as possible, it also gives time for people to check it out before my next upload. I've noticed some people who upload daily lose potential views and interactions because a subscriber who watches my content on a regular basis may feel they are overwhelmed they have so much to watch and will only pick certain videos to interact with. Uploading weekly for me keeps it simple because when the subscriber checks back whenever they do, they just have the one video to check watch that week thus giving the video maximum potential to get more interactions. I hope this makes sense."
I always kind of thought this may be the case as well. I do watch Casey Neistats who uploads daily and that seems to have been the things that keeps his momentum on YouTube. Maybe for smaller YouTubers it can have a negative affect?
Just wondered about peoples thoughts on this. Im aiming to start uploading a lot more regularly. Every other day maybe.. or just twice a week.
There is a 'small youtuber' I know who was posting videos almost everyday and she has grown from around 120 subs to around 700 in a couple of months.
