dedicated website besides your youtube channel? yes or no?

I can say YES, do it. Most of my YouTube traffic comes from my website. Currently my videos are starting to equal out between being viewed on youtube or embedded from my website.

I also have a lot of content on my website that is not a video so I am able to gain readers and convert them over to my channel. It does take time and more work to run a successful companion site but if you enjoy what you are doing then its not work at all.
 
im going to greate one yeah :) just working out the server and wordpress atm :)

first thing im going to buy is a computer from a local marketing company, they offer used computers they used for rendering for cheap prices and a friend of mine works there:)
So in the future i can even render 4k videos pretty quick, just need to upgrade my internet connection ^^
