Body image and YouTube

As long you respect yourself and avoid any extremely unhealthy food, there's no point to feel bad. The world isn't perfect and fair, and after all, you only live once, but the time here is very valuable.

Whilst I'm not trying to tell you being skinny is the worst thing ever, I've read a few of these comments and as a skinny person these conversations always make me feel kinda s****y because 'feels like hugging a skeleton' doesn't really give you a good feeling about something, at least I, cannot particularly help. One guy when I was at college said he wouldn't want to have sex with a skinny person because it would feel like a bag of bones, then looked at me and said no offence Emily.
YouTube however is full of thinner people, not all are 5ft 3 and 107 pounds but I do see how it could get into your brain even if you wouldn't want to be that weight. I personally don't subscribe to people based on the way they look anyway, if the content is there, so am I :)

I hate body shaming in general -_- Period. Everybody deserves hugs and to be recognized for their talents and contributions.
*super hug*

I have seen dozens and dozens of well known Youtube channels with large people.
As long as you're comfortable with yourself and you're healthy that's what's important. People like your videos based on the quality of the content and your character. That wouldn't change if you were thinner.

UPDATE: I just watched one of your videos and I don't think your large at all. Strong is the new thin and everyone, large or small can be physically and mentally stronger.

For females at 5'3", the ideal weight is 104-127 (assuming you were talking about yourself).
For males at 5'9" (me), the ideal weight is 144-176. I weigh 140 exactly. I'm just lucky that my wife is much nicer to hug than I probably am.

As someone mentioned earlier, boogie2988 is a perfect example of a "large" youtuber who's very popular. He might get some hate, but he still keeps on making videos :) he's actually one of my favourite youtubers :).
