Body image and YouTube

I'm very self conscious about how I look and how my body is at times, but I figured people might be watching my videos for other reasons, which I hope are because they enjoy my videos and not care about how I look ect. I mean, people don't actually see my body in my videos below my chest ect, but I'm sure people can possibly tell that I'm not very skinny because it probably shows in my face. I wouldn't call myself fat, fat, but I would say that I am little bigger than I probably should be for my height, however, haha.

But really, I don't care what people think about my looks... all I care about is that they're enjoying my videos. ;)

You're not large at all O_O Not from what I see, anyway! And your laugh is awesome ^u^ Just saying.

I Like a youtuber called victoria donelda! She does mainly make up videos and she is so funny!

I think if your personality is good people will like you no matter what you look like! There are people that are sexy but have the personality of a warm piece of fecal matter so be yourself and it will be okay!!

And while you might receive hate, because I know bigger people are always a target to that, you have to keep in mind that those comments are just there to make them feel better about themselves by hurting you!

The important is really just to be yourself and ignore the haters if any come out of their evil lair!

You're not imagining itl. Thin people have a distinct advantage over larger people, not just on YouTube, but in life in general. That means we have to try twice as hard to get half the success that they do.

But don't ever change your physical appearance unless you absolutely want to and you're doing it for yourself. I'd be a hypocrite if I said that my opinions on my own body didn't change hourly, lol. But confidence in yourself can attract people also.

My advice is that (appearance wise at least) you do whatever you want to and maybe people will like it and/or like you for it. And if not, ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I'll be honest with ya. Im a 5 out of 10. Some days I'm a 6! HELL i've had nights where I was a 7. Ain't no shame in my game. Neither should you.

I have a similar problem. I dislike my body, and because of that I wear a lot of baggy clothes, which helps in the short term but then starts to make you look larger than you actually are. I don't wear figure hugging tshirts for that reason, I hate my chest and stomach.

I'm quite proud of my arms, I have cool tattoos and my arms are fairly toned through years of manual labour, but my diet is awful. I can't seem to shift the weight so the camera never goes below mid-chest.

Still, I believe that regardless of what size you are and how you look, personality will always shine through. Keep doing what you do, and to hell with the haters and naysayers.

I've learned a lot since I started this thread. I'm like... at terms with who I am :P I also have a lot of supportive people around me, so I got a lot of positivity influx.

I bet you look amazing ^u^ Do what you do :D Maybe try a vid in something else and see what you think? Or what others think?
