Budget?

Your comparing apples and oranges here.

In the $50-100 range I recommend the Audio Technica ATR 2500. Slightly better then the snowball quality wise and you can find it for 60 bucks.
In the $100-200 range I recommend the Blue Yeti. Superior sound to both the snowball and the ATR 2500.

In the headset range, I recommend the Corsair Vengeance 1500s, they have very good bang for your buck 7.1 digital surround and a good microphone built in.

Kemsharma makes some really good points, though I am getting some really great results from my snowball mic, although I am investing a lot more time into the edit. The next walk through I am preparing to upload now is about the best quality I think I am going to be able to get out of it, so just purely for comparison, you could use it as a reference if you are looking at buying a snowball mic.

Should be uploaded tomorrow.

I'll have to look into that, sounds good :)
Not too sure what kind of shockproofing/pop filter the blue yeti has, but a good idea would be to buy the blue yeti (the pro is kind of overkill), buy a mount and pop filter for it with the extra cash :)

From the poll it seems the Blue Yeti is the way to go and i'll probably buy the mount and the pop filter aswell like you said. :)
