Loving YTtalk
I'm kinda of in the same situation with the easy to hear through the room. I would usually do vids when no one is home. If I really need to make a vid, ill just do it. Talking alone in your room in front of a camera is embarrassingly weird at first but it will pick up comfortably after a lot of sessions. You will feel natural about it later on and won't feel embarrassed anymore. I would say keep doing what you do, if they pop up and ask your abouts, just stay your making a youtube video. It does take awhile to break out of the shell, but you will get there I could say It took me about 30-40 videos to feel comfortable.
