1M views = how much $

Wow I think it is a lot.

Can you imagine making 4000 dollar by video. Especially if it is just to announce something or talk for 5 minutes :snaphappy:
 
Could you imagine being one of the people who hit 1 million views regularly?! Slightly on topic is the $$ per thousand views based on each video or is it your total views over a month if all of your videos are monetized? I have never fully understood that.
 
Looking back a few years back on my gaming channel i was partnered with Maker Studios and a video of mine hit over 200k views quiet rapidly and i have earned $250 about on that video.
 
What I have learned

Longer videos = Higher CPM.

3 Min video - $1 per 1000 views
6 Min Video - $1.50
10min+ Video $2
20min + Video 2-3$

No people don't have to watch the whole video. It just has to have a decent overall amount of watchtime/minutes viewed.
 
4K for one video. It may seem low but think about it. 4k for ONE video make ten thats 40k. Still alot of money in my eyes anyway :D
 
If that 4k is about what people get PewDiePie uploads about 2-3 videos a day. That's 8-12k a day. That's 4.3m a year. He earned 14m last year in USD. Either he's getting paid more per video or he's making loads more in sponsorships and other deals.
 
$4K per million views is not about what people get paid.

Everyone knows its average $1-$2 per 1000 views depending on where you live

Yes it is based on each video. Each video performs differently in what type of 'advertising performance' it attracts, as mentioned in my previous post. Example. 1 10 minute video could make $3000 from a million views and a 3 minute could make $1000 from a million views. An hour long video could make much higher revenue if alot of people are watching the majority of it.[DOUBLEPOST=1454588351,1454588321][/DOUBLEPOST]
