100 Subs!!! - The Journey Begins

Hit my 100th sub right at the end of my shift tonight at work. Put me in a great mood to finish my shift off strong!

I am beyond excited for what this year has in store. I set my subscriber goal for 1,000 by the end of the year, and I'm overwhelmingly confident about it at this point, even with the slow start. I've got a couple great travel vlogging series coming up, including two months in Colorado hiking some of the best mountains the state has to offer, followed by 3 months exploring Southeast Asia, which I'm sure will bring more adventures than I can imagine. And I'm doing it all with my lifelong best friend.

I just want to say to anybody reading this, do whatever makes you happy in life. Follow your dreams and passions, and don't let what other people think get the best of you! In the end, you'll be much more satisfied with the life you've lead that follows everything that makes you excited vs what pleases other people. Thank you to everyone here on the forum for all the encouragement, tips and support. This is a great community and I'm very happy to be a part of it.

Congratulations on hitting the first century brother, massive achievement and with the hard work that you put in, you really deserve it! That's a big ambition there shooting for 1000 but with that self-belief I feel as if you can definitely do it haha. That's some Conor McGregor type self-belief.

Boooom! That's what's up man! Thanks very much, and I'm super excited to start working towards my next milestone. And you're right, there's not enough people doing it, but I guess most people are content in sitting inside there comfort zones. I, on the other hand, strongly feel the urge to get out of that zone and make some magic happen! It's exciting being among many people here who feel the same way. Thanks for the comment man.

Congratulations! I think the first 100 is the slowest milestone, and then it picks up a bit (it's not all smooth sailing from there, but it does get a little faster). Great pep talk to read this morning about chasing your dreams, too! You can't get what you want if you don't at least try.

Thank you, Xingcat! I've heard that before, and I hope it's true! xD I'm so excited to be moving past my 100 subs milestone. It's definitely not all smooth sailing from here (I can assume), and I'm sure most people's expectations go up as their channel grows. Glad you enjoyed what I had to say. Agreed! When I decided to film my first video, I made the decision it was much better to try and fail, then to not try at all. So glad I made that decision. ^_^
