Personally, for recording I use Camtasia Studio 9 recorder. This is great for me as it is very simple to set up and is lag-free. If you are a gamer, I'd recommend OBS (Open Broadcast Software) as if you use the right settings you can get some clean gaming videos!

I have been on YouTube a long time off and on.
I make videos about a multitude of things to do with nerd culture, learning Japanese and I make vlogs. This How to will be short and sweet but I will put a video where i talk about it in more detail at the bottom if you wanna learn more!

I had to re-record this video three times and it got some mistakes but remember that I am in a learning process for all this.

I've seen a few people who have fantastic editing styles that are inspiring.
Mr Sark for gameplay, used to be unprecedented. I haven't watched his videos in a while, but they were always quality.
Casey Neistat is obviously an inspiration for many on Youtube.
But where did you learn to...
i think a lot of people could benefit from peoples opinion and maybe learn from that youtubers editing skils.
