When would you give up on youtube??

I have decided to never give up on YOUTUBE, I want the fame. Maybe I give up after an year, but that's not confirmed and it will be a waste. So hopefully I won't give up.

It's a wonder why I haven't-as all the changes really gutted animators/people who release short videos infrequently. I've certainly taken my long hiatuses and have been burned out many, many times.

Yet something compels me to keep going. Probably because it's the closest I've come to my childhood dream of having people entertained by my characters.

I'm in it until I at least hit 10k subscribers.

I've only just started but I'm hoping to stay on as long as possible! I feel like right now it's just sort of a hobby I'm doing on the side that I want to perfect. :)

I won't consider quitting until I think my videos are the absolute best that they can be.
My growth is slow, but at the same time I feel that there is lots of room for improvement in my video quality.
So in the meantime I will continue to focus on researching, storytelling, audio, animations, pacing, etc..

That's basically it. I wouldn't quit unless I was putting out the 'best of the best' and still getting no results.

I´m doing it for me, and I have been at it for 1.5 years.
It gives me a reason to go out and travel, so it´s a win - win for me!

I'm not as committed as most of the other commentors thus far. Making the improvements to my channel is going to leave me less time to keep making the basic adoption videos that are the reason I volunteer at the shelter. Those basic videos I make are the ones that directly save lives. I started working on the channel to help the shelter, but the growth is way slower than I expected. At this point, I enjoy both my basic shelter work and the YouTube work and I can manage both, but I don't have a "I'll never give up" attitude.

Hmm i wont give up anytime soon... I just got used to it already, ive postes over 340 vídeos... YouTube is now part of me.
