1) Keyword Density - This is how often your video has a specific keyword in the title, description, tags, etc. To rank high, you want to find a high searched keyword and rank for it. I did not rank on page 1 of "games", but I am on page one of "how to make a game", and this gets me a good amount of daily views. Lets use that for an example. In this video, the exact words "How to Make A game" are in the title, description, and tags 6 times exactly. Then each of the individual words "How", "To", "Make", and "game" are each there about 30 times. YouTube ranks things based on what meta data is there. If there is tons of one keyword within the video, they will think "Wow this video has to do with how to make a game, we should rank it for that".

Worked on this alot on my recent World of Warcraft gaming video, and when I started using more of the same words I got ranked on the first page of the tag "World of Warcraft Patch 6.0" for a while. Was the 2nd greatest day of my life, first being the day BET had a "Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" Marathon", but I don't think anything could beat that. :)

Hey guys!

Quick question, When I upload a video, it seems to circulate on youtube for a week or two, then the video just stagnates and you can't even find it if you keep going to the next page on the search results. This is very frustrating:/ Does anyone have any advice for me? I have done some SEO research and feel as though my tags and metadata are pretty well thought out, and I cant really modify it in any way.

Anyways, hope someone can help!

Cheers:)

I don't know how helpful this is, but it's all I know lol. I think what's happening is that there are other videos coming out with similar key words, and because they are "newer" videos they get priority over yours in SEO. You can't control how old your video is, so they only thing you can do is make sure that all of the SEO key points that you can control are strong. I hope that made sense lol
