Thanks for making this guide! it was very helpful! did it with a video a couple days ago and its been gaining views ever since! its not on the first page but its on the second and thats just fine with me! :D i made some changes to all my other videos and checked if they come up and sure enough! cant wait to gain some more views on them. BUT i have a question.... what if a video is really unique andnobody else has really done anything like it before (that ive noticed) its a video where my friends and i blend up random items from our fridge and drink it. how would i get that to the top?
 
Well we have experienced mixed results. One video went to page one, now is on 2. Another video went from page 28 to page 8, but we can't seem to raise it any higher. Another video went from page 6 to page 2, but is now on page 8. Most of these videos need stronger views, only a handful are over that 50-100 range. That could be attributing to it, but does anyone know what else? It could just be our overall size as well.

And stronger watch time! Youtube is heavily on watch time. Youtube promotes video's more often if people stick longer watching video's(yours or someone else video's).
 
Ahhhhh the old watch time. Yea we need to spend a little bit more time with our analytics. Even with our meager views it's useful. There's been some folks jumpin ship pretty quick sometimes, which can be disheartening since we feel good about what we do. But good to know!
