The small stay small, the big get bigger.

Wow! Super glad this is the first thread I'm going to post in on this forum.

This incredibly insightful obviously effective (You're at over 500k now!)

Thank you for the tips :)

Hey uberdanger,

I have been on YouTube for a long time now, and am gaining some traction, but not as quick as I feel that I should be. I have been vlogging for 5+ years now, I work hard at my edit, I engage with my audience, I create (what I think are good) Thumbnails. I will admit that on my vlog channel, TheFunnyrats, I haven't really had a viral hit. One video is doing well, and I think I'm getting some traction from that, but I was wondering if you could take a look at my channel and give me some feedback as to things that I could do better or things that I am doing wrong.

Also I should note that I do have another channel, LaneVids, which does have a viral hit, 4 million+ views, and if you have any ideas or feedback on how to use that video to drive people to my vlogging channel because I have found a bigger passion for vlogging.

Thanks for this great feed, even though it's old.

Lane

These are definitely good tips. I am currently stuck at 200 subbies. I shared my videos on my personal facebook, facebook groups, google plus and even reddit. However, my channel isn't really growing and I don't quite know what's wrong.

I feel it´s a shame that small youtubers stay small, because some of the small ones are awesome, and deserve more views and subs!

If someone is really awesome, sooner or later he will definitely get recognized.
But not if he is only "good" because there are just too many "good" Youtubers.
