The small stay small, the big get bigger.

Thanks for this great article! It made my view on youtubing better :)

I've seen (generic) youtubers 'sky-rocket' out of nowhere and that made me wanna research it.
What made them so big all of a sudden?
Besides them following the regular ways (good thumbnails, interesting content), luck was an important one.
For example, the 'right people' found their channel/videos who shared their videos with others/tweet about it, etc. (promoting, shoutouts, etc.)

And, there were those that were found by and got in touch with a well-established youtuber and got big thanks to that.
 
Great information man. I have currently applied the sharing method and it works but it takes time definetly. Currently at 59 subs. I tried changing to a custom URL but i heard that you lose all subs is that correct? Kind of stupid if that happens...

Why would you lose your subscribers? I've never heard that :S
 
Have you already tried this and having subs recently? I saw information on this on several websites and the thing that most people complain is that they have to start from 0 with the new custom URL because they loose all their subs. If you have done that recently and dint happened then let me know please.
