The small stay small, the big get bigger.

No matter how much advice I get from bigger youtubers it doesn't seem to help me ):
Really, that's quite surprising.

Anyway, since I haven't responded to the OP yet, the principle he named his thread after is true, I believe. The only thing I'll point out is that this isn't a zero sum game. There is no reason there can't be more big channels growing out of small channels.

yeah this is about where i was already knowledge wise with this but it was well detailed for someone who doesnt understand this process as well.

Very insightful info. I will keep the tips in mind :) being a week old and going through that *small* stage, I'm sharing my content with friends, forums, etc, and it's slowly improving!

Uberdanger dude help... I did what you said i made *gateaway* videos, like now i started a new series called the Yolo Swager which is actually pretty ****** up...anyways i put quite the effort at it but it is still like the most low viewed of my videos (I am not excpecting things to happen fast but...) I followed your advices and I kinda failed. If you have anything else to recommend please say it, you will help a LOT.

Thanks for your time!
PEACE

Dude a gateway video is not some gameplay with title all over it ! It's suppose to be a SHORT and FUNNY video that a lot of people will like and share !

:/

I Tried to make it short and funny Its even shorter than the full revive bangaloo ( i think i dont actually remember but its about 2:00 minutes)

You missed one method of growth uber. Buying it.

Now, before the hipster torches and pitchforks come out, I'm referring to adwords.

On a rough calculation based on a recent experiment, I was able to pick up between 8 and 15 subs a day on a $5 per day budget. This was done via a channel trailer and a pretty decently targeted adwords campaign using nothing but free adwords credit. I'm up from 207 subscribers to 371 currently. I've also been keeping the budget low until I know for certain what I'm doing is working as planned.

This gives an estimate (excluding any additional growth along the way) of between $3,333 to $6,250 for 10,000 subscribers.

By the time a channel has 10,000 subscribers, getting organic views and gateway videos as mentioned by uber becomes much easier because you can actually rank videos. Making back the 6 grand becomes much easier. Most 10,000 channels should be easily pulling 200,000 views per month (or way more in many cases).

Just a playful thought.

It's just something that the community doesn't appreciate I guess, I've noticed that unless you have a MASSIVE channel not many people will take you seriously. :p

But this thread is super helpful dude, great job :) I get low views because most people can't bare how sexy I am and it burns their eyes, so they just don't watch
I love your outlook, hahaha, it really made me laugh in real life. Its a great way to think about things.
