The small stay small, the big get bigger.

Yeah they do.

I am doing something wrong then..I tried to upload my latest video and they pulled it down and sent me a warning..gah! wish I would have saved it! In essence saying that I could not upload any videos for a Youtube channel..that it was considered advertising.

Yeah you can't do selfpromotion.

These are some great tips! I am currently in the middle stage, but I decided to take a risk at starting a let's play series. It's getting a quarter of the views I usually get, but I am still going to carry on with it.

This is such a great post! i knew all of these things, but this was like a great reminder for me to see at what stage i currently am. Thank you!

I think i'm nearing the middle-sided channel being a vlogger, i'm trying new things to interact with my viewers and some days are GREAT! Other days i get maybe 1 or 2 subscribers.. any ice how to keep your channel going as a low-level medium channel?

Its making thwat jump from a small channel to a medium channel but as you say if you do these things you can get there.
Thansk for sharing! x

Excellent thread, thank you! It looks like you jumped up from 8500 subs to 38000 subs in the 2 months since you created the thread; is that correct?? If so, congrats! That seems like a tremendous jump; was there one factor that was more important than another in getting you so many subs so quickly?

Very helpful thread. I am starting to see shorter, wider targeted videos get shared about so I suppose that's what you would call gateway vids. Give that man a prize :D
