I think you also need to think about the entertainment value of the game your reviewing. If you're not saying something interesting to hold our attention, we don't want to see you turning a phone sideways and upside down to make little balls move down a track lol. Like, if you have no opinions to be adding, then cut to the chase, once the viewer gets what the gameplay is like, move on. Especially if it's repetitive.

This just... this could be anybody you know? Like, the only real reason to watch is to just see how the game works. But that's not a reason to watch YOU, anyone reviewing the same game could get the same job done. I encourage to think of a reason for us to watch YOUR reviews. Find something special about you that you can showcase. Rate the games, tell us what you liked and didn't, edit the videos down to avoid boring parts, you've got to put your own signature on it to make us want to watch you over others. Perhaps your strength is not many people review these phone apps, but we still need less repetitive gameplay and more opinion.

I'm not saying it's just all bad, it's just, if you're gonna talk about something, let us know what you think brotha. I like that song at the end though, it's pretty catchy ;)

Warning: This is going to be a very brutal review. If you are easily upset by negative criticism, do not read.

I'm sorry, this failed on quite a few levels. It was a matter of the video's premise not fitting the style and the clashing of presentation and content just made it utterly a flop. You were trying to give real information about online degrees and accounting and statistics about women in businesses and stuff like that, which has it's place and it's purpose. But you did it through goofy looking characters and computerized voices. The way you presented the video immediately said "this is going to be funny" to the viewer, so for the first minute I kept waiting for the jokes to start. As soon as it became clear this was not humorous my reaction was just "are you serious? WTF"

What you're saying in this video deserves a real voice with conviction, it deserves to not be presented by goofy looking cartoon characters, and could use some emotional inspiring music in the background to make it resonate with the viewer as important. The way you have it now makes it so the viewer won't care to listen to a word you're saying, and many will just be p****d that they thought it was gonna be funny and then was anything but. If you want to give this kind of information, do it in a way that resonates with the viewer emotionally, you could just use text on the screen with pictures of successful people and scenes with nature and some beautiful piano piece that lets us know "this is serious business" But this was such a clash of content and presentation that if I were rating it it'd get a straight 1/10. Sorry man. Don't give up, just regroup and try again.
 
Hey man, I want your brutal opinion on this one. Just so everyone that sees this knows ahead of time, THAT ISN'T MY ACTUAL VOICE. Haha

Alright Code, not much to tell you I haven't told you before. Visually this was great, I wish I could do music videos like yours it's awesome. As far as switching it up and keeping it interesting and making it different, this is reeeeally good, I like the way you rapped in different voices and tones and did it in your own way. I'm sorry though, when I've talked to you about this song before I was trying to be encouraging, but now you're in my brutal reviews thread, and that's not what we do here. The singing part is bad. It's just.. not musical, it sounds like you're trying and not achieving. I wish instead of trying to "sing" you had just drawn your words out and made them singISH but not tried to hit the notes going along with the track, it really falls flat at the end "so let me take some time to introduce myself" every time I hear that Im like "ohhhh man... should have just rapped it".

This also seems kind of... you seem like you're on the defense, and violence obsessed. Some people may like this, I guess it worked for Eminem. I however find it immature and unnecessary. Saying you'll cut off heads with a chainsaw just makes you sound psychotic. The kind of aggression that actually resonates with me is controlled aggression. Not saying "I want to kill you" but actually making points and being clever. This kind of comes off like a kid who's p****d off at the world going "I'll show you guys! I'll show you!"

The sound of it? Great. The beat? TIIIGHT. The delivery? Off at times but great in others. But the lyrics and the singing just did not do it for me. Sorry bro.

Kat I don't know what to say. This is just incredible in every way. You look great, you sound fantastic, the song is incredible, it's just awesome. I have no criticisms for this at all. You nailed it. NAILED it.

You've got fine chops man. You can play, that's good, but honestly, this bored me. The camera angles never change, you're not moving around rocking out, you're just sitting on a stool playing a song exactly note for note how it goes. I LOVE Toxicity, amazing song, but if I wanted to hear the song I'd just listen to SOD do it. What makes me want to watch your video? If you were giving some awesome performance that'd be great, moving around acting like you're playing to thousands of people. If you added your own spin on the song, that would be cool too, giving it a solo and adding extra parts that aren't in the original song. But this was just like "Check it out, I can play toxicity" which had very little appeal to me. Videos like this to me are entertaining to friends and family, not to strangers.
 
Hey man thanks! :D I've started sitting down in my recent covers, but I'll make sure to do something more unique in my future videos. I will definitely stand up next time, improvise, add parts, etc. Thanks for the great honest advice!

Look forward to seeing what you come up with man. Thanks for taking the review well, I'll always tell you what a think of future projects and stuff. The reviews aren't me TRYING to not like things, just being as critical and unbiased an honest as possible, so yeah, have a good one bro.
 
iv never really had someone review one of my videos but i'll give it a chance, haha so if you could review this that would be kewl. thanks! :)
