Ok ok, I'm gonna step outside this situation for a minute. I didn't realize you felt belittled. I never said I was better than you, I'm not sure how you heard that in what I said. All I said is that it was the same review as many other video game reviews and I wasn't going to sit through 19 min of it. When you come back telling me how elitist and ignorant I am, when this is my thread for giving my honest opinions, I snapped, and it's more than just you, whenever I give a negative review I don't get responses or thanked. You know, just because the review is negative doesn't mean I didn't take the time to see what your video was about, and in some cases I still write very detailed negative reviews about WHY I didn't like something. So not getting thanks for my time is annoying, then I have a kid who won't even READ his negative review, when I took the time to watch most of his video and write THAT out for him.
Now I wake up to this guy telling me I'm this and that for not wanting to sit through more than 3 minutes of his video when I stated in my rules I don't review videos that are like that, and yeah man, pretty annoyed. But you know, with my first review I gave, before you ever started making accusations and calling my character in question, I was not trying to make you feel belittled, just saying "this is the same as the other reviews of this genre, and I won't review it" As far as me trying to sound better than you after that, once again, not my intention and I understand your defensive nature if that's what you heard. My point was saying "don't call me these things in my review thread where I have every right to give my true opinions on things" but yeah, I was p****d at your response.
Look, you seem like a nice guy, we've kicked off to a bad start. Perhaps I'll change the title back to "brutal reviews" to avoid confusion, though the thread should speak for itself. These reviews don't claim to be all roses and kittens, I tell it exactly how I see it. I never said my opinion was the end all perfect opinion, I just represent the demographic of people who think like I do.
I apologize for making you think I was saying I was better than you. Gamers are fine in my book, I think making it your whole life is a little weird, but hey, anime and magic the gathering, and all kinds of nerdy things have been my whole life at times, so I'm quite understanding of the sentiment. My intention was simply to say "I have every right to think and say whatever I feel about a video in my own review thread" nothing more, nothing less, I'm not sure what gave you the impression I was better than you, but it was not my intent. Let's go grab a beer and put this behind us now
