Other Starting a community channel! [Need Submissions]

Dang i didn't know that, don't remember seeing that

Yarp. Pretty much all networks have this as a requirement (mainly so you can't go off and get partnered with someone else on the sly) so you will have to work out a sub-contract whereby you pay anyone who asks to be paid royalties from videos. That could get... confusing, lol.

You could always just see if anyone wants promoting though, as long as they agree that your channel can/will make money from it.

I could just use the money to better edit videos, such as software and hardware

But legally you are required to get their permission to earn money from their video, or agree to give them cut or they could lodge a copyright claim if they aren't happy or if you don't tell them you're earning for e.g.

Trust me when I say this isn't worth ignoring. I worked in litigation law for years, I see this sort of thing go (pardon the term) tits up all the time (as puny and silly as it might seem since you won't exactly be raking in millions lol)

Most smaller channels will be more than happy simply for the promotion if it takes off though.

Trying to figure out what a community channel does and what the benefits would be to sending you a video. As of right now you have no subscribers so how would this help promote our channel?

All it means is that users upload their video and the channel is filled with everyone else's work. I personally don't like them, especially not if someone will be earning money.
