Oh god Google... what have you done?

It seems that it's just a system to help people crack-down on others reuploading their videos, I'm not sure what's wrong with it.
It's going to cause unnessecary problems when random people start putting content ID claims on their gameplay and it matches someone elses. Bad enough as it is that random companies do it.

Oh no

People may misuse it though, look at what companies like Nintendo did with Content ID, they had channels shut down. In the hands of anyone channels will be going down left, right and centre even if they were totally in the right.

The ONLY way this can work 100% in the original posters favour, is if the content ID checks the video second for second. This means the video has to be the exact same. Currently, there's not much information on how it works but knowing Google... lol

I don't think it does that, according to a video I watched by Total Biscuit it only took a short trailer in a half hour video to disable monetisation (at least that's what I remember).

This is going to cause so much s**t for gaming channels... I can see it being good for people who make tutorials and vlogs or short films.. but gaming channels and channels that use the same stuff as other channels a lot will get ****** in the a** :')
