In our recording setup for our let's play videos, we use 2 Audio Technica AT2020s with a simple audio interface. They are great for what we do so if you'd like to get an idea of how they sound, check out any of our videos.

Thanks for the advice ! Sorry im a newbie when it comes to this ! would I use a mic for just filming voice over or can I conect it to my camera when filming sit down videos ? Cheers

I totally think The Blue Snowball is great it can . And the simple USB connection and plug-and-play operation means you don’t need any extra gear—just plug right in and start recording and streaming in amazing quality.

For small youtubers, I reccomend a really cheap option, The Blue snowball, with the correct editing , it is really good

I may look into The Blue Snowball. I've been recording on my cellphone with a comforter over my head. Worked fairly well, but my new phone does not record as well and I need to upgrade.

I also use Blue snowball as well. It's pretty great.
