I never seen any of those in any shops I went to... Might be because I live in Serbia but oh well, not like I have money to buy them either if I would find them.

The best place to get this kind of stuff is from online retailers like Amazon.

I heard a lot about it but never actually bought anything from it. How trusted is it if I buy a product from there that I will get it?

I doubt you'll run into any issues with Amazon, seeing as they're a multi-billion dollar company that everyone and their grandmother knows about. :D

I have used my blue snowball for a couple of years and I'm pretty sure it is indestructible. I have dropped it so many times and it always works the same.

The Transhine TS-99 Is a fantastic microphone, great quality for a great price, i bought i around the middle of November for £25.

I'd like to get my hands on the audio technica AT2020 one day but am broke so I just use an average podcast microphone which cost me around 50 quid. I'm still in between the yeti and technica since I like how much background noise the technica removes but the blue yeti has all its glorious knobs and settings.

Evening,

Coming from a production company background I have used shot gun mics for on-set boom sound. My first mic was the NTG2. For the price it is great - especially for close up work. It is notorious for its lower input levels so be careful if you're not in a studio environment. If you can shout right into the barrel though - it's fab.

I now use a Sennhesier MKH416 for field work and a AKG C214 for studio work. I can recommend them both.

James :)
