I myself I am a drummer so I use 7 microphones total. I have one on every drum. and 2 over heads. All samson mics. 2 samson C02 mics for the overheads, 3 qtoms, one qkick, and for the snare I use either a qsnare or a shure sm57 depending on the sound I want.
But as a drummer I would say the Sm57 is an amazing microphone for snares and overheads.

Hi guys! I'm new to youtube, I just created my first 2 gameplay videos.

I think the biggest issue now is the sound.

Can you recommend an OK budget mic that I could plug into my PS4 Controller? I'm using the PS4 ShareFactory capture. I don't want to invest into a lot of hardware because I'm new to all this and I'd like to get a bit more experienced before throwing away cash :)))

Thanks!

I use a CAD U37. It's a really good mic for the price. It takes some setting up to get it to sound really good but once you do it works really well. I don't have to be sitting right next to it for it to pick me up and it hardly gets any background noise at all. It's a USB condenser mic.

Thanks man! They are fairly cheap to buy. 45 bucks for a new one and it comes with a desk stand and pop-filter.
Awesome!

I was wondering about the stand and the pop filter.

Do you connect it via USB? Do you know can I connect it directly to my PS4 console and record the sound?
