How do you add the links to facebook etc??

Go to edit links on the banner. Under the social media section, change that number to 4, use the drop down to add facebook and copy/paste your facebook URL in there.

Sometime in the next coming up weeks, yes. You can switch back if you don't like it, but once it's mandatory there is no going back.
