How To Upload To YouTube FASTER

My editor already exports MP4 the issue is for some reason it wont do it at 1080p. Even if the footage is 480p I try to upscale it to 1080p that way it actually gives that lossless quality when it goes to youtube. The MP4 file type is honestly amazing though. I just wish FRAPS would output to MP4 instead of AVI. AVI is a headache especially when you want to have a library of clips to use in a review that are all like 50gb! Instead of 500mb!

To 69.8mb
without any discernible loss in video or audio quality.

So I tested uploading 2 files, that were originally over 2 gigs each, 20min parts. The first part uploaded wonderfully to Youtube, it was now only 1GB thanks to Handbrake, but the second uploaded and processed and then got a weird error saying File Could not be Converted.

Not sure if I'll continue using this :/. I can't risk not uploading one day, as that pushes my schedule back, but on the plus side it did upload one video, which is equivalent to how many I would've uploaded if I didn't use Handbrake anyway.

Here are the steps:

1) Produce and render a MP4 video
2) Download handbrake (http://handbrake.fr/)
3) Set up handbrake
4) Open Handbrake
5) Drag your Mp4 file into handbrake
6) Ignore the error
7) Choose destination folder
8) Click Start
9) Find the new file
10) Look at the reduced file size
11) UPLOAD at a ultra fast speed!

Does this only work for mp4 videos?
 
Wow this is actually helpful because my files are usually around 200MB but my internet speed is around 1MB/s so takes forever! Thanks!
 
handbrake is amazing, it rly helps with uploading fast and i never had any major problem so far. u should try it if not already
