If anybody is looking for a really cheap mic that is pretty good, the Samson Go mic Compact USB Microphone I feel is pretty good considering how cheap it is and is really easy to use too. We use two of them when we record our gaming stuff on our channel. I recommend this as a great like 'start up' mic.

My setup for PC gaming channel is the following:

Macbook Pro - I7

Recording Equipment - TurtleBeach PX22 and a Blue Snowball iCE Mic
Software Editing Equipment - Sony Vegas Pro 12 and Adobe Master Collection CS 6 (Both obtained through school sources)

This for me works really well, my problem is getting my videos noticed! Lol.

That will set you apart from the rest of the herd, is to get your video noticed and take it off the ground. I had one video that actually made it pasted 1k views, so I am really happy about that, and the other videos were like around 500+.
