Another thing that can really make a difference is lighting or variety of the location you film your videos. If it is poorly lit or even too close to your face, seriously nobody wants to see nothing but your mouth half the time especially if you are premature, lots of different crops throughout the video if you're far enough from the camera really can make the difference with thought of before you just put one in randomly, i hope this makes sense, thanks for posting!

I think number 6 is the most important detail. It's important to interact with your subscribers. They are the reason you are getting views.

Some great tips. The default settings is a good idea but some tags and descriptions need changing for different videos and the default settings can make this easier and a time saver.
