Anyone elses CPC/RPM drop through the floor?
As of 1st Jan these have dropped by 50%!

Isn't it because the holidays are over and it's now January? Presumable the worst month of the year. Or so I've heard before. I don't earn enough on youtube to really notice a difference lol.

The January earnings plunge. 2 years ago, my earnings dropped by over 60% in January. Sucks bad. Plus, I just started racking in the views and earnings on a new channel I made with a video that's going viral. All those views going to waste now. ;(

Yupp, it's the usual bloodshed at the beginning of the year.

First day dropped 50% for me too, though comparing what happened in the previous 2 years, at the end of the month the difference compared to December should be "just" between 12-29% of total loss

Actually my CPM only dropped 15%, however the monetized playbacks (views) dropped by 50%. Tells me brands/advertisers just aren't buying ads in January, which makes sense as most ad budgets are spent during November and December.

My CPM was 2.79 on the 31st December (average for the entire month is 3.01), 2.01 for the 1st of Jan
