just watched the pimpmychannel one. The ONLY thing I notice that's even REMOTELY like what you're saying, is your voice sounds just a tad bored. You could maybe sound a little more interested in what you are saying, but you still have alot going for you, perfect enunciation, no ummms, you get the point across, and for what you're doing, you don't have to sound super enthusiastic, you're not going down to Florida to vlog on the crazy happenings at spring break or anything lol. So I mean, maybe just sound a little more upbeat and interested in what you're saying, but it's by no means even remotely bad or anything. I've seen people do tutorials like that who sounded WAAAY less confident and more mumbly than you do by a LONG shot, you're doing just fine with your talking parts imo

Thanks Symph, yeah when I listen to myself I feel like I am attending a funeral or something, I sound really down and bored lol thats just me though and I feel fake if I put on a cheery voice. I could try practising more, as they practice something enough and you can get there.
 
Loved the video! I'v kind of avoided this show because I cant really stand, like, omigawd valley gurls. But it might be fun.
The only thing I would suggest to you, is dont talk about free to watch websites, except the legit ones. You really dont want to be associated with the illegal anime services and such what. Advise your viewers how they can get ahold of a show legally.

Those sites are illegal???? They have ads and everything! How is that possible? I had noooo idea...

LOL there are some legit ones! Crunchyroll and Funimation for example are legit. But most of em, the ones with a CRAPLOAD of adds everywhere and popups all over the place and stuff? Totally illegal :p And all fansubs.
 
Symph, I love this style of video. I wish you were somewhere a little more comfortable, like sitting on a couch or something, maybe some 'anime' stuff in the background to set the 'mood' lol. But, like always you're interesting to watch. I'm not crazy about anime but this was still interesting to watch.

Michael, just jump in and try it :). It's daunting as hell, but if you forget about all that other negative stuff, I think you'll like it. I think we all eventually will find our 'voice' that we feel comfortable with when we're doing our videos and it couldn't hurt to just try?
 
Let's not forget that there is an audience for just about ANYTHING. My proof? FRED.
 
I'm not a huge fan of anime either (except for maybe Miyazaki stuff) but I DID enjoy the video bro. Well done. I second what "Stef" recommends, sit somewhere comfortable. Also, put a pipe in your mouth and a bathrobe on (joking, of course).
 
Sorry guys, if I sit down I restrict my movements, I couldn't have re-enacted Ran getting swung around by her father, I would have felt restricted, I talk with my whole body, so I will definitely be standing. However I may try to find a better place to stand with a less.... cheap looking background.
