Am I The Only One?

I wouldn't care about the money, because it wouldn't personally go towards me. I make vids to help others get through their day with goofy gaming content. If I was ever partnered, I would make sure the money went to my family due to the hardships we're going through. As of now, others are happy, and I'm happy doing this while having fun :)

The sad part of this, there's actually a lot more people now making YouTube as a living. It really depends what you go for and if you start it out right.

Luck... You need a lot of that.

I'm not so sure about that. I'm forcing my growth and it's going pretty well. If you treat it like any other business, you need to advertise your brand and sometimes that costs money. Up 445 subs in 7 weeks. IMO, why leave it to chance?

That is your choice ofcourse to spend money to advertising and promotion. I don't do that, I don't do sub4sub etc. So I agree on my channel growing very slowly.

You have to do something that nobody else is doing, it all depends what your channel is about. Then from there, just keep being more active and interact with the people.

I had a similar question recently about partnerships. Most times I see people getting a partnership purely to gain money. It's crazy. That said, I'm sure there are a lot of people that love to make videos (myself included) and don't really give a damn about the money side of things.

Unless I get popular I don't even want to consider youtube a job because when its a job its not as fun ^.^

I make videos because I enjoy it. Used to make money from them a while back but since my adsense was disabled money became a non-issue and in some ways freed up my channel and I can make whatever the hell I want.

i love editing complex videos, and i am nowhere near being able to make money from youtube.
but dont misunderstand those who do make money from youtube, the change someone gets really big on youtube and makes enough money from it so that they can make a reasonable living from it is very small, so those who are big must have had some motifation besides money to keep going instead of just taking a normal job and have a steady income. and even if someone would do it for the money you cant blame them, like it or not, money is pretty much all our society is about, and if you have the chance to get some extra income, why not take it?[DOUBLEPOST=1377293122,1377293101][/DOUBLEPOST]i love editing complex videos, and i am nowhere near being able to make money from youtube.
