All videos under review for monetization

I have monetized videos but don't have the customised thumbnails feature yet. Good to know this is being rolled out over the next 2 months. My channel is still small and I thought I had to have tens of thousands of views for this.

PS I think I am a YouTube partner, it says so on my Dashboard. Odd because, again I thought I needed much more views. Right now I have less than 5,000.

I had some video glitch under review, had to call them multiple times.

YouTube Monetization is really badly made, they could use a revamp .

I hope so, what happens if you monetise and then add the thumbnail and then unmonetise, does the thumb remain?

Yes it will. But monetization does not allow customised thumbnails bro. Only partnership allows this privilege.

I am not a YouTube partner and I have custom thumbnails available on my videos; it happened pretty recently (I think). A friend of mine pointed out that I should have thumbnails by now, I said, "But I'm not a partner." I went to look and 'lo and behold, I have custom thumbnails.

I think that Google may be opening up thumbnails to a random selection of people who have monetized videos just to test out the capability therefore?
