After Joining CreatorX - can I Quit Youtube?

I was just accepted to Creator X but haven't received any contracts for anything yet. If/when I sign with them and then if I decide to quit doing YouTube videos all together, Is there any penalty? Does my contract commit Me to keep making videos for the entire term if my contract or can I quit anytime? (I realize that I probably can not quit the network and keep running my channel during my contract - My question is about stopping making videos all together, Or even opening a new channel and abandoning the one I joined the network with If things don't work out)

I'm pretty new and have only been making YouTube videos for a couple of months 170 subs, 10K + views . Could joinging CreatorX help me get more views to my videos (Music video covers) I think my videos are pretty good quality but I've been surprised at how slowly they're being viewed. Can I really expect that I will get more exposure with them? Will joining creatorX help my vids rank better in search?.

I tried to explain in my post that I am not planning on quitting. I am asking - if I join a network and thenan down the road decide youtube Is not for me and I want to stop making videos before my contract is up, do I have an obligation to keep making vids till the end of my contract?
 
I don't think you are allowed to quit, but double-check what your contract says. you should give them plenty of notice beforehand if you do decide to quit/abandon your contract though, which I don't condone.

I think in most contracts, there is a set number of uploads per month you have to maintain for the term of the contract.

Depends on the language in your contract! If you sign a contract that has negative consequences for quitting then yes! Only you can answer this question... After you read the contract.

True. I just haven't received anything yet, so I'm trying to understand as much about the industry as I can. Are the CreatorX contracts for new channels standard, or can they be negotiated on certain points - like this. Or is it pretty much "take it or leave it" with them?

Does joining them help my vids (music video coverd) rank better in search? Thanks.

I would guess it is a take it or leave it deal for small channels. They don't have time to negotiate with smaller channels, but I cannot speak for them. Being a partner does help your videos rank better in search I think.

But why? If youtube is not your thing why sign a contract?

I actually am a new YT partner, but do you think being a CreatorX network partner would imrpove search rank above just a normal YT partner? Thanks!
