3 tidbits of advice for those of you starting out

Great advise, I post videos quite often! Since reading your advise I now plan to make a schedule of 2-3 videos a week rather than 8-9 a week. I actually haven't told my friends about my channel due to the fact that I don't want them to judge me! I only started posted videos in February so I guess it hasn't been that long.
Haha, basicly the same thing here. I dont tell my friends about my channel that much, because i want to build a small community before i go there. And in the past i have startet many project but given up right away. Now im gonna really go for it but its like no rush.

I think those tips were really good, and there is a lot of people talking about consistency to new youtubers, but i think it's quite a good idea to "learn and fail" in the beginning while you still don't have a lot to loose. I haven't yet found my niche, and im trying out different sides of my caracter in my vlog, but eventually im going to fall into a kind of a track i guess?

What social network sites would you suggest, I have insta and twitter, instagram doesn't seem to help at all so far

I don't know if it was me you asked, but you could try different blogging platforms like wordpress and tumblr and maybe there are own blogg pages in your country or in the area you live in that you can post on. Often this can be good because you reach people that can relate to you.

Dedication and consistency are the two best tips for growing on YouTube. However, don't let consistency take away from quality. Remember, Quality > Quantity.

Good advice man! I need to work on being consistent with my video uploads. I tend to just upload a video when I have it ready and when I want to play. I think that making a schedulal for my viewers will really help me gain subs. Thanks again man!
