Well I did tell my parents, how else would I explain me filming in the living room when they see me lol. I haven't exactly told my friends, but I did post videos on my Facebook profile so those that I have added there probably know I do Youtube if they actually look/read what I'm posting, which most probably isn't many. :D
 
Congrats my man, I've not told anyone I know. I feel like a spy, carrying sensitive information. Except that no one cares. And I'm not a spy. Damn

I have yet to actually post my videos on Facebook, although I've messaged quite a few people about my channel. haha. I guess that's my next step, releasing my youtube channel on social media.

It means instead of listing it as "public," as in everyone can watch it, if a video is listed as "private" when I upload it, only I can see it. It doesn't show up if you're looking at my videos tab.

I was sh*tting bricks, to say the least, when I shared my video to them. But turns out, they were all really supportive, and now I feel like an idiot for not doing that in the first place.

I just wanted to share that here, just in case anyone else is in the same position I was in. Not only was it a milestone for me that I got 25 subs, but I also overcame my fear of putting myself out there and showing my work to those I feel like matter the most in my life, which is another milestone.

And now I've never felt more motivated to reach out to others and share my work, be consistent in my work, and to support other dreamers out there who may be struggling with the same fear as me.

I get what you mean! I've been doing the YouTube thingy for 2 years and I hardly uploaded and now I'm just getting them out and finally got 89 subs! I never told my family till now and they are very supportive and I felt like a lemon haha. Well done though! It feels good doesn't it haha

That is great to hear, In the beginning I was hesitant to also share my videos, but as I started to gain abit more I started to get more and more comfortable with my content. Keep it up and dont forget to share your hard worK!
