Boohoo, so they can't efford another Hummer or another boat. Let people enjoy making awesome stuff with music and when you don't like people use your music, here is a tip Don't make it.

I agree. People are money hungry though. You get a decent amount, you want more, more, more.

Yeah while on the other side of the world people are having World War 3, no home, no food, but the music makers have 8 Hummers and 2 boats. So let's strike all the videos on youtube with music, because that's the most important thing to do now.

Well my theory on this is...I will look up a song on YouTube before I download it on iTunes to make sure I like it. I feel most people are like me...you know honest...but then again I know better lol

I listen to all kinds of music on YouTube. I personally don't agree with what the labels do, or a lot of the copyright law in general.

The laws the law though, and so long as it is law, people are going to enforce it. May take some time, but eventually you'll get bit.[DOUBLEPOST=1351190734,1351190704][/DOUBLEPOST]

I agree. It's shameful.

I agree with placing ads for money for the music makers only when they spend it normally. Use it to do something good in the world. Research for decises. Helping the people in the mideast. Doing something for the homeless people in your own country, but first of all the music that get's the most money is the most crapiest one. Many can't handle money. The amount of money they earn is toooo damn high.

And you know laws can be changed. There is no one who doesn't let an united nation change the law.
We stopped that SOPA, PIPA crap so we can make a difference some day.

Well said. I agree here too. The laws should be changed. And a lot of people can't handle money. Not everyone though... but a lot. lol

It'll be one hell of a fight. Remember the Napster/Metallica debacle and the fallout from it? Wasn't pretty for Napster... as we knew it.

I have two sizable music channels, and it's best to just forget about using music from big labels and artists. It really isn't worth the hassle.

I place ads on a lot if not all my music videos. It's an agreement I have with the labels and artists. I promote their music and in return, I collect the ad revenue. YouTube did start blocking me from doing this, so I had to collect written agreements from a lot of labels and email them over. Problem solved.

Hey thanks for replying everyone! So...do you think if i post this music video to the one piece rap my chances of ever getting a partnership will be shattered?

Can you find a similar piece of music from a smaller artist and contact them? Or is the video based on that song?

I still think in a world with freedom of speech, right to express ourselfs, right to use what ever we can to be creative, and in a world in which is so important to work together. We shouldn't argue about copyright. There is more in the world.[DOUBLEPOST=1351192204,1351192146][/DOUBLEPOST]

Just post the video, in the worst case you will get a message to delete the video or can't make any money of it. Just do whatever you want. It's YOUtube.
