YOUTUBE'S NEXT VLOGGER COMPETITION 2013

The requirements are actually pretty low. You can't get into creator camp at youtube space with those numbers. The requirements are put there for a reason. They want you to already have a fanbase you can build on and to get to that level, you should have a decent amount of experience.

I don't think youtube wants to hand out $4k worth of equipment to someone new that doesn't know if they're going to stick with it. People see these contests as a prize that you can win, but in reality, it's youtube investing channels that they think can grow much larger-which in turn earns them more ad revenue.

true but its hard for newer channels to get noticed but I do agree with u
