YouTube's New Look

I haven't personally used it, but I'm SOOOO excited for it! I've been sad since the OLD youtube layout with partner banners and such went away... So this will at least help channels diversify a little bit!

Probably pretty soon since you can already enable it through dev tools. I think within the next few months it'll go live after beta testing

yeah we'll see because i know they usually only allow bigger youtubers access first for trial runs then once theyre satisfied its released to the public.

On Google Chrome, I don't see those purple borders. I checked their main page and the Playlist page.

I've hated every new layout update ever since Google took over. just saying. hopefully this will be better.

Hmm...Interesting. I wonder what determines the color?? It's a different color from the blue/purple when I looked for their page:


Actually, my channel was a gold color yesterday, but just now it was orange. xD I guess YouTube just picks random colors? o.0 I really hope we'll get to customize the colors...

Well it looks a lot like Youtube Gaming Layout... It doesn't surprise me. The color change with your channel icon. It pick up the dominant color.

I really look forward to it! I never liked the generic white and was longing for some personalisation!

Yep, definitely reminded me of the YouTube Gaming layout, hopefully this update works out.
