Are you really comparing the #1 youtuber to a generic surgeon? If you're comparing the #1 person in a field then you need to compare them to the #1 in the other respective field. When looking at that, I am pretty sure the #1 surgeon makes more than him, or around the same. Just like the average surgeon makes significantly more than the average youtubers, which don't make anywhere near enough for it to be full time.

and well yeah youtubers make a lot but there's not like they got lucky,they worked hard for years,i see some guys just think that in like 2 months they should be making big figures on youtube though its not that easy and they just drop after some time...
ksi btw in part shows that he is making good money from yt and in part he doesnt like in a recent video,i believe the charlie charlie challenge's description he wrote that he got 400£ for a video with over 9 million views which is quite impossible and people believe him..i dont like that by him :|

Yes but that is because they put a lot of work into it. The American economy is about work and the more work you put into something the more you are going to get out of it. Obviously surgeons get paid a lot because they have to go through a lot of training and schooling. But youtubers can get paid more because they put a lot of work into their videos and promoting themselves which is sometimes more work than being a surgeon![DOUBLEPOST=1435417825,1435417769][/DOUBLEPOST]

Holy cow that would be a lot of money! You could practically be rich if you were a surgeon and a popular youtuber!

I manage the computer and server network. My boss works 2 buildings over and I usually only see him once a week. I take my work laptop home, so I use it for everything. My videos don't require me to film anything because they only use videos that already exist and I modify them. If my boss did walk in I could easily just click to a different program in front, but my desk is positioned so the backs of my monitors are to the door and my boss never walks around and looks at what I'm doing anyway. Besides, they have a fiber internet connection with guaranteed 150 Mbps up and down.
