I don't mind or think it would matter to most people if you start a video with "Hey Guys". I think having a greeting is just good manners in life. Going into a video cold seems like it'd be a bit odd.

I say "Hello it is casual onion and today..."
Sometimes I say my slogan "small guy from Internet" just before "and today" I guess it's just shorter

Yeah, I greet and have a 'name' for my subscribers. At first everything felt weird, just talking to a camera is weird initially! Now I feel comfortable though, or more comfortable at least, I'm sure a year from now I'll hate my current stuff but as of now I like saying hi/bye/rage on hobbitses! ^__^
