YouTubers promoting themselves on Kickstarter

Yeah I don't get it. I mean, I done a Tubestart campaign like this but got no attention and rightly so. It is not the way to go, you need to work hard yourself at the beginning rather than expect everyone to give you a handout

He might have 30k subs, but he's only getting ~5k daily views across 464 videos, which isn't very many views at all for a 30k sub channel.

I have a Patreon page, but I don't promote the s**t out of it, I just have it for people who would like to help out, and all money donated goes right back into the channel. But I still keep working hard on my videos weather or not people donate.

Well, doesn't look like it's really working for any of them lol. I think it's insanely dumb, it's one thing to use revenue from YouTube to purchase equipment, but it's a whole different thing when you start asking people...

While I don't see myself doing something like that, I don't have anything against it either. If they get money, more power to them. If they don't, they can't say that they didn't try all options. I don't get why there are so many posts recently focusing on what other people do on YouTube when people should be focusing more on themselves and what they can do to better their own channels.

I am not one to b***h at what other people do because it takes time out of my day to do so. But it's the morals of it that makes people mad and rightfully so. If you think money is the end all be all then you need to wake up. Because if you're sad without money you're going to be sad with money. The faster the world learns that the green stuff in the end is worthless in terms of anything but paying bills the better off we be. Because I don't care if you have 1,000,000,000,000 in the bank or .01 in the bank when you died you don't take it with you.
