youtubers asking me out on dates HELP!

Haha thankfully the dating situation has never come up, but I've met people in person before. Thankfully, I live in a huge city so it is less sketchy, but I run a marketing business so I'm used to meeting strangers more often than most people I think.

YOOO everybody...
hope you Americans had fun at vidcom X/ "Jealous face" lol

What do you guys do when your viewers start sending you msg about taking you out on dates...

OR even wanting to meet you!!

what do you guys to in that situation???
I was part of moderation staff for a social game for 2 years, and I was asked to be met in real life, or go on an *online date at least 200 times a day. I got used to it and I just decided to eventually ignore all of these messages because any response will create problems, and nobody will expect you to respond to them.

Some people could be very creepy...
I'm starting to understand why some big youtubers don't respond to comment...

I bask in the compliments and do nothing with it. Though if they were legal age, I would do.........things.

I haven't had that yet, but if I did ever have it happen to me, I will just say that I have a girlfriend or im seeing someone (even though I defiantly won't be)

@TheBatteryChicken will.. You wont like it and probably will end up in jail but he will do it.
Hahahahaha, I can't stop laughing!! :hilarious2:

One YouTube guy just showed up at my house once, even though I had never given him my address. He had figured out where I live by looking up my parents' names on Facebook, and matching up the view from my door with a clip I had in one of my videos (which I have since deleted). That was pretty creepy and really made me think twice about mentioning anything on my YouTube channel regarding the exact city I live in, where I work, etc.

On the other hand, I've agreed to meet up with a couple people from YouTube, but always in safe situations. Meet during the day, at a very public place, that sort of thing. Two guys came to see me in a play I was in, which was pretty cool because I got to talk with them after the show but in a crowd of other audience members and with cast members nearby. One of them brought me something and had left it in his van and they asked me to go with them to get it, I said I wasn't comfortable with that so I waited in the theater while they went and got it. One of these guys is one of my closest friends now so I know he wouldn't have hurt me or anything but it's always best to be safe.

Well, since I'm married and 51 years of age, I'm outside the normal youtube dating demographic.

But, I did have somebody show up at my house yesterday. I'm going to have to install security cameras for my family's protection.

Holy s**t :D Thats one of those stories that usually ends with "and that is why I have the police on speed dial, and a gun in every room from now on" :D
