It differentiates depending on where you are and what type of ad you have, but it´s generally 1 dollar per 1000 views!

Depends on a lot of things as mentioned above
Today so far I have had 36'000 views / 13'000 impressions / 1250 clicks
Page RPM £0.56 / Impressions RPM £1.59
At today's ROE I am earning on average 70 cents per 1000 views so need on average 1430 views to earn a dollar.
The more views I get the less profitable each 1000 views gets..

Before news of advertisers leaving, the usual average is $1-2 per 1000 views. After advertisers leaving, who knows what the next average would be, pretty low is what I reckon.

and right when my views are slowly creeping up as well. Heh~ tough luck. Look at that massive drop. Pffft.

Lets just hope, youtube manages to solve this problem and get their main advertisers back. I mean, people b***h about youtube caring for advertisers only but they don't step back and think that without advertisers, youtubers wouldn't be able to make any money from their videos anymore (at least not the easier way). Some people just don't think.

Anyways, excuse my little rant.

Actually, watched minutes and average watch time plays a bigger role then views. It all your videos are 30 secondS long, you make almost nothing regardless of how many views you get. If you have hour long videos, but people only watch the first 30 seconds and leave, you still will not earn anything no matter how many views.

At the end of the day, the algorithm to calculate your earnings is so complex, that no one truly understands it. Right now nothing is making any sense to anyone and we all feel like we have been told get ready to be violated.

People were saying that now you have to have a total of at least 10,000 views on your channel as a whole before you start getting paid.
