Hi!
I've got a quick question. I just noticed that on some of my videos I can't choose different quality than 360p, 720p or 1080p. It's really strange and I have no idea why it's like that. I should add that it only occures on my newer videos (less than one week old). Is it just taking youtube some time to process the video and add those other quality settings?

As I said, mine are also in hd (1080p,720p), but there are no lower resolutions except 360p.

Sorry I must of skimmed over that part. I wish I could help, but I never put my videos in lower resolution. Good luck I hope it gets fixed soon!

So from what I have noticed depending on how you record those resolutions will appear quicker. Like the HD ones. Then in the back end Youtube is processing the other definitions. I had some videos take a few days before they had every definition. Mine are default HD as well.

5 days ago or so there was an issue where videos didn't get processed into 144/240/480p, it seems to be fixed now, however videos affected didn't get reprocessed

Yeah. If you upload a 1080p video YouTube will create different versions of the vid at 360p / 480p / 720p etc.
Depending on the uploaded video and Youtube's servers, this isn't always a fast process.
