That's true. I mean people are people. But you can't help but be starstruck and for that to catch you off guard. I mean I'd be at a loss for words if I were to meet Rebecca Black or something and have her randomly grab my junk and slip me a note saying 'hotel room 89, meet me in 10 minutes'.
I think as those poor girls were being raped part of their brain was still in shock and trying to process the idea that the same guy they watch on youtube every day as a faithful subscriber and finally got to meet in person is actually pinning them down and forcing himself painfully upon them.

Oh I know it's heart breaking but I just wanna clarify that the second guy the... what's his name? Oh! VeeOneEye no one is accusing him of RAPE. And I know what he DID was still terrible but when it comes to situations like this I feel like we need to be very careful what words we use. The girl admits that she consented to have sex with him, so no rape was involved, the problem is that he purposefully gave her more alcohol than she wanted to drink and used her naive trust of him to his advantage and pressured her into something she wouldn't have done other wise. But she wasn't fighting him and kicking and screaming while he forced himself on her or anything, he just got a young naive girl to drink enough that she lost her senses and did something she wouldn't normally do that scarred her emotionally, and he was the one who was old enough to know what he was doing and she was the one who was so young and star struck she got swept up in his manipulation. Terrible thing to do to a teen, but still not rape.

So far there are 3 people who have been revealed and accused to have committed sexual abuse on youtube. Sam Pepper, Alex Day (nerimon) and Jason Viohni (VeeONeEye). This isn't the first time this issue has come out as another very large youtube got sentenced for having child pornography.

I thought about this a lot. I do think you're right. What they did may have been manipulative and awful...but was it rape? I have no idea who 'VeeOneEye' is but is he over 18? If he had sexual intercourse with a 15-year old ('consented' or not) it's still rape. There's also the question of whether or not you can actually give proper consent under the influence - which in that case still qualifies as rape.
This is all very sad.
