YouTube says I use copyrighted music

Ya i remember when i uploaded something before it said there was a copyright notice for something really really faint in the background

Had the same happen to me just now and I went against it and in the comment part I posted the rules from the youtube library and now im just hoping they wont delete my youtube account.

hey guys, yesterday I put up a Christmas video. I used the music you can download from youtube itself for free. and now youtube says I'm using music I shouldn't be using because of copyright. How can I remove the warning. because I'm not doing anything wrong.

Yeah, dispute that. Include that it was a YouTube free song. They should fix it.

At the moment, the new, much more strict content ID system YouTube has implemented is very sensitive, so false content ID's are happening to many channels. Just dispute it, explain the situation, and it will be removed without any issues.

Does anyone knows how long it takes before the warning would be removed after you disputed it?
