Sorry for the thread mini-hijack OP

I have this one really simple video which took off for some odd reason?
If you're talking about that channel, then your most popular video has more views because people love lists. Put 'Top x' and make the content even somewhat interesting and you will end up with high retention. It doesn't even have to be an accurate list. People will watch through a bad list just as often, just so they can comment saying how bad the list was and how this or that should have been in that top 10.

Your other popular videos are tutorials. Come up with relevant and interesting tutorials and they will stand the test of time and be consistent earners for your channel. They are tried and true evergreen content. The gifts that keep on giving. Notice that the tutorial that has done the best is more time-specific than some others. "how to install mods on minecraft" has been done a million times. Your highest viewed tutorial mentions the most recent Minecraft version and that is what helps.

Look into your analytics and see where your views are coming from. It's likely search, but you never know, you could be getting a few from other low-viewed videos' suggested video section. Also note the retention/watch time for your most popular videos and then try to figure out why those videos have higher retention. Then replicate that content (generally) and hopefully get similar results.

Good luck.
