trust me when i say the most unexpected and simple things go viral
Exactly. Their are great videos that should get views, but don't even break 1000. I feel bad for the ones who made it. They deserve far better. I wish people weren't entertained by the stupidest things. Thanks for your concern, and your insight. I appreciate it!I have a similar situation, and i must say, i have had a hard time doing this as well, i have found some controversial topics to suit me well, you could do a video about dreams, that was a hit of mine, in general, things that are bound to be going through EVERYONE'S head are the ones that will do good. A lot of the time, i will have a good video, get a few views, but then get TONS of comments. Most of this is luck, and yeah, just waiting for that day like you. Also, most people that get famous on youtube have a lot of energy or an EXTREMELY unique personality, personally, i'm not loud or anything, i'm chill and a lot of people like that, 1k people say i do. I wish the best of luck to you, oohh.. missed one. A lot of the viral videos are EXTREMELY stupid or annoying or maybe someone gets hurt on PURPOSE. I ran headfirst into a boat for my "hippie after dentist" video, wich is a parody of the viral "david after dentist" video, which has only gotten over 600 views in a month and a half and thought it would be a viral video, the best stuff on youtube, at least in my view, don't get the views they deserve. Hang in there, buddy.
Hmm... Maybe I should just eat a bowl of cereal while discussing the importance of NOT putting cucumbers in the exaust of cars... Maybe. Just maybe, I'll be someone, afterwords <3trust me when i say the most unexpected and simple things go viral
When I first got into Youtube with the intentions of getting big, I read about it a lot. About 90% of the stuff I read, said that if you make good videos, they are bound to be seen, and bound to be popular. If they are truly funny. I find that to be kind of a weird assumption...
I must say, I disagree. Who's to say what's good, and what isn't? How can one person be the judge of that? Besides, their are tons of awesome videos on Youtube that haven't even broken 1000 views!
So, with that in mind, what does it REALLY take to get big on Youtube? I personally believe that you have to have contacts. Know someone who is already big on Youtube, and have them make a shout-out to you in one of their videos. Or maybe they pay for views? But why pay money for your own footage? That doesn't make sense, whatsoever. It sounds like a scam, in a way. But the whole idea of Youtube is so remarkable, no one dares to even consider it as being a scam. And I can relate!
Some people do get lucky. With that one video, they can become famous. Just days after their video goes viral, they are being interviewed on the biggest talk shows, and news stations in the country. But how do they do it? There has to be someone through Youtube pushing the buttons. Someone who works through Youtube that likes the video personally, and puts it out there in order for Youtube to get great publicity. I don't know. Maybe I'm just blabbering.
What do you think? What does it take to make that one video that can change your life, forever? If you don't know, just take a guess. I'd love to hear feedback. That way I can best discover what to do next with my Youtube career, if I so happen to have one.
