Thanks for your input. My personal experience with that has been after doing about 1200 videos, I've only had 2 real copyright issues:
1: Bogus claim from scammer
2: Bogus claim from youtube robots
In the grand scheme of things, these 2 issues are but a whisper. Certainly would not justify THOUSANDS in loses from the MCN cut. The money I'd give to MCN would be 10 times what I lost of one of those claims. So spend $10 to save $1. Right.

[DOUBLEPOST=1416859736,1416859500][/DOUBLEPOST]I'm sorry but I don't think most YouTubers realize they are signing up for a big pay cut with no value coming back. I've even heard from big youtuber 200k subs+ who are p****d. They got suckered in and paid hard. Do you really think networks would survive if most people knew they were useless? Nothing you mentioned is something you can't already get for free.Networks help with copyrights. Only thing useful. Oh and they only help you if your actually of significant size.
Well, there are people that do know what they're getting into when joining a Network. Being part of a community is bigger than taking a little cut in pay. The main aspect of Networks are to make their content creators feel as if they are in an exclusive club, and offer them things like royalty free music libraries, graphic templates, etc. If you want to change something. Stop all these "young" YouTuber's aspiring to be the next PewDiePie, and help with creatively, inspire them. If you want them to look to you for guidance, do you really want them to just see you lashing out at Networks that you aren't even with?[DOUBLEPOST=1416859342,1416859312][/DOUBLEPOST]
That information is completely false, they do not help you with copyright.![]()
