Your Lighting Setup?

I do not recommend getting the cheap lighting kits from Amazon. They WILL break. You're better off getting a couple clamp lights from Home Depot and some reflectors. You'd be surprised how well those work.

That all depends on how you want to control light and the final product you want. I have been using both Cowboy Studio lighting, and Limo Studio lighting, both purchased on Amazon for over a year now. If you take care of your gear, it will last a long time. I have never had any problems with any of it.

Clamp lights from Home Depot are fine if they suit your purpose, however, if you want correct lighting for video, you will still need to get daylight balanced lighting (typically 550k -5600k daylight balanced, 45w - 120w), and do proper white balance on your camera settings. At the very least, if you are using clamp lights with standard bulbs, you will need to use CTB colour correction gels to make sure you don't look yellow or orange in your videos. Flourescent bulbs that are not daylight balanced can make you look greenish. And lack of diffusion will make lighting look harsh and/or create hard shadows where you may not want them.

So if someone is looking to make their videos look professional, proper lighting is best. If someone is just looking to light themselves and they are not worried about high quality, then clamp lights will do just fine.

for my vlogs i just used my regular lighting but i turned in to bart friggen simpson lol everything was yellow. then i got two daylight bulbs and that made a big difference!

for the main channel we made a studio with a green screen and have two tube light fixtures each one has 4 daylight tube lights. so 8 tube lights in total. works great!

Yeah, exactly what I was talking about. Daylight balanced lights can make all the difference in the world. Making sure to white balance can help keep you from turning blue with daylight balanced lights.

I am using 100W lamps, Halogen, small factor you should buy this things I will used in future also. One on each side of the screen. I think for best results I should put a third from the bottom .
