Your Biggest Youtube Fail?

Hell I wish I could put no effort into my videos an still gain that many views lol
Dog videos are easy, you just need good timing and good quality helps too. My most viewed videos took probably less than 5 minutes of planning and hardly any editing. The videos I put a ton of effort into probably maxed out at 6k views. I still need to look at my footage from last night, I put my gopro on our fireplace when we went out for a couple of hours to see what the dogs do while we are gone... I've seen some of these get millions of views

My first video was an hour long lol. It was me rambling on and on explaining something, repeating myself over and over. The first 2-3 minutes are me going on and on and on about how I love making videos etc etc. It's all really cringeworthy.

The weird thing though is that it is one of my best performing videos so I decided not to take it down. The actual main content of the video is good, the problem is that it's buried in all that fluff and rambling. If I could go back in time and do it again, I'm sure it'd be performing even better but hey, this was 2 years ago and I have learned a lot since then. :) I sometimes get questions about something I say in the video and I have to go back and watch / listen to it to remember and I just end up shouting at the screen when I hear myself lol.

Another fail was similar to Munchito - I spent a week of filming and editing a video which was a pretty original concept. I was definitely trying to go viral in my niche and I thought I'd made the next Star Wars or something. Needless to say it flopped and I'd wasted a huge amount of time and energy. My other videos which take less time to make do so much better.
